About Chill Out Beauty Training
This year sees the 6th anniversary for one of the region’s most exclusive beauty training academies. Since opening in 2013, the Chill Out Training Academy, near Knowsley Village, has helped more than 2000 students graduate with an industry relevant qualification.
A by-product of the award-winning Chill Out Spa, owners, Sharon and Steve Carroll welcomed the first student into the academy in 2013. Originally set up to provide training for spa therapists, we very quickly realised that there were opportunities to provide elite training in hairdressing courses and course in makeup artistry also.
The academy and has since opened a real-life working hair salon facilitating more diverse courses and the opportunity for hair and make-up students to practice their skills in a realistic working environment. Our brand is now widely recognised as a centre of excellence within the beauty industry.
Why Us?
The academy enables students to experience the pressures and dynamics of real-life working situations. So, for example, our make-up students will experience a professional photo shoot towards the end of their course, hair students will work on real clients within the salon and our spa therapy students will get to see first hand, just how a successful spa operates.
It’s equally as important that any training you undertake adds real value to your career ambitions. At Chill Out Training, all our tutors have relevant and current industry experience and so our students learn from people who are in touch with industry trends and demands.
Chill Out Training represents a real alternative to conventional colleges. Smaller classes (typically 4-6 students) enables it to provide more specific training tailored to suit individual needs. We can also accelerate the training experience so that students gain recognised qualifications in half the time it would take at a local college but without compromising on quality.
